I am starting this thread for StarrSpace. Welcome to our site! I am posting a couple of pages from a book which I thought you might find interesting. Someone sent me these pages and I am sorry I do not know the name of the book. :-( i119.photobucket.com/albums/o134/vickyvalenta/misc/sleepy1.jpgi119.photobucket.com/albums/o134/vickyvalenta/misc/sleepy2.jpgJust click on the links and save the pages to your desktop. On the 1850 Federal census, St. Peters River, MN you will find Joseph LaFramboise married to Jane with children Alexis, Julia Ann, William and Justin. After Joseph died, Jane remarried Louis Sharon/ Charron and they can be found on the list of folks who took refuge at Ft. Ridgely during the Dakota Conflict of 1862. There Louis and Jane are listed with children William LaFramboise, Justine LaFramboise, Eliza LaFramboise, Frank SHARON and Louis SHARON. They lived 4 miles above Redwood. There is a great deal of information on this site about the LaFramboise/ LaFromboise family. Just do a search, change the number of results to 100 and the number of days to search to 900. Let us know if we can be of further assistance. Vicky

I wonder if Louis Charron may have been a sibling of Joseph Charron, who wed Cecelia Campbell in 1866 at camp release, Lac Qui Parle,MN.

Beverly: John c. rouillard was maried twice: No. 1 was Rosa Goodteacher No.2 Mary Wamnbdisun No.3 Jane Greyday-Stone-Bluestone-Lawrence(she was married thrice before she wed John C.) Clifford Rouillard was the son of Wilfred Rouillard son of John C. Rouillard, and Grace Viola Goodteacher. You can log into Oyate Research Center: oyate1.proboards.com/index.cgiand go to the section for church records, andalso try birth records. Look for the posting for the Santee Agency Baptismal Register, and the Santee Mission registers no.1 and 2, and look in there fo rthe records you want. If you can'tfind them, then it means that they were baptized Catholic.
